The South Korean company Samsung has introduced a device Galaxy S4 Zoom - a hybrid of a smartphone and a camera with a ten-fold optical zoom. The device extends the range of smartphones Galaxy S4, but differs from the flagship Samsung more modest specifications.
Galaxy S4 Zoom equipped with a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, compared with two quad-core processors in the flagship. The device screen diagonal of 4.3 inches less than five-inch Galaxy S4. Built-in memory to 8 GB user can expand up to 64 GB through cards microSD.
The smartphone will be available in versions with 3G-module and supporting networks fourth-generation LTE and runs on Android 4.2.
Feature of the device is a 16-megapixel main camera with a tenfold optical zoom. It complements the 2-megapixel front-facing camera. As a result, Galaxy S4 Zoom can serve as a compact digital camera and smartphone simultaneously.
Galaxy S4 Zoom received a number of specific functions - for example, turning the lens ring during a call, the user can take a photo without interrupting it, and send it to the other party. Your device includes an optical image stabilizer. Furthermore, it is available to the smart mode of image processing functions.
In size (125.5 x 63.5 x 15 mm, 208 g) smartphone Galaxy S4 Zoom almost twice as thick and 80 grams heavier than the flagship Galaxy S4, but thinner and 92 grams lighter camera Galaxy Camera.
Samsung has not yet disclose the cost and terms of the product was on the market.
